Developing Leaders Day (DLD)
Aims to connect best undergraduates with the organisations that need them. DLD represents an opportunity for organizations to gain access to talented, enthusiastic and driven students from all major campuses across Sri Lanka and to position themselves as an organization in the forefront of developments in the areas of Youth Leadership.
Developing Leaders Day objectives :
- Enhance the leadership capabilities of undergraduates
- Provide an unmatched opportunity for career planning and skills training
- Create opportunity for interaction and promotion between companies and graduates
Career Development Day (CDD) 2010
It was a full day workshop conducted by the experienced and qualified resource people from within AIESEC and the corporate sector. CDD 2010 was a program that will attract the talented individuals graduating from the local universities & other recognized educational Institutes with an efficient selection process developed by AIESEC in Collaboration with reputed Sri Lankan companies.
The underlying purpose of CDD 2010 was exposing the youth to opportunities to explore their employability skills, enhance their capabilities and reflect their inner selves in order for them to develop in to a better personality.
Moreover, CDD 2010 provided opportunity for the companies to capture the best talent before others and gain visibility within the community of job seekers. This is with the ambition to develop confidence in the potent job applicant as a recognized business brand which will ultimately encourage the best of the job seeking community to seek employment within the company.
Our target was 1000 of the future leaders produced by leading local universities of Sri Lanka and other recognized educational institutes from all over the country.
